Pineapple is my ultimate favorite note in perfumery so it was a must that I order this as soon as it came available. The shipping was fast, and The packaging was lovely.
It is mentioned that the notes are pineapple, caramel, and vanilla, but I swear I literally smell the breadiness of the cake itself as well. This is especially noticeable in the opening to me. I love the scent of the drydown the best because it settles on me to a sweet, soft , vanillic-Pineapple. I love that that pineapple note does not fade over the life of the fragrance. I also love the moisturizing formula. Combined with the matching banger butta, I had great longevity as well.
I highly recommend this product to all.
This scent is wow!! Pineapple upside down cake is one of my top 3 favorite desserts, so I’ve ate it more than enough times to report that this butta is spot on to the delicious aroma of the dessert. I’ve heard Mary mention she may need to put a do not eat disclaimer on this bake shop collection and she might be right. I smell the fresh, juicy pineapple fully and it does not fade into the background on the dry down. It is not artificial smelling at all. Then I get the toasted vanilla and caramel on the dry down - just like you’d get from the ooey gooey goodness at the bottom of the cake! I mentioned in a review for another bake shop scent that I’m a true gourmand girly, year round. I’m so excited to have a gourmand scented moisturizer that is appropriate for summer. The butta itself is light and fluffy so not too heavy for the warmer months. The thought and care put into packaging these orders is impressive as well. Will most definitely be purchasing more of these in the future.
