This body scrub meets my every expectation of a Banger Beauty By Mary Buffa. The texture is loose enough to easily dip out of the jar yet firm enough to hold shape and not drip. It's just right to give a lovely buff without being greasy.
I was hesitant to order as the scent notes start with cola and caramel, two scents I'm not terribly fond of. But Mary's review assured that those are not dominant and I do love the Buffas so I gave it a shot. I'm glad I did! The blend is such that no one note stands out, it's just a lovely blend of creaminess and warmth from the vanilla ice cream and cinnamon with a touch of citrus from the lime and depth from the cola and caramel.
Because it's such a great blend, it pairs with body washes that do not share many scent notes. I've used it with B&BW's Warm Vanilla Sugar and, oddly enough. Rainkissed Leaves, where it softens the sharp notes. Soda Licious Buffa is a great pairing partner.

I LOVE high end dupes. I would say here you can pick out the different fruit notes in a way that might be harder in the OG designer version. But that makes Mary’s version the more enjoyable in my opinion. Maybe more summer-ready is the more accurate description. Anyway, don’t sleep on it. She doesn’t just kick butt in gourmands. Her fruity stuff is amazing, and this one is the epitome.
